This edition of ER&T consists mostly of products that just don't work for me anymore, or perhaps never worked for me in the first place. I've made a commitment to continually clean out my makeup stash, throwing out old and/or bad products or give them away to friends or family members. I also don't want to keep expired products around. It's always nice to have a streamlined collection.

Urban Outfitters' Pink Holo Nail Polish

Lo and behold, the incredible Pink Holo nail polish from Urban Outfitters. The holographic effect is probably the best I've seen and is super easy to work with. For this polish post, I had to post multiple pictures so you all could see the full effect.

Subtle Highlight for the Masses

This picture makes the highlight looks really peachy, but it's not!

I have to admit that I was terrified of highlighters up until this year. I have a round face with fuller cheeks and problematic skin and was afraid that it would emphasize the wrong features. Shimmer and sparkle don't do well with me in terms of face products, so I was on the hunt for a subtle highlight. Emilynoel83 of Beauty Broadcast was/is always raving about this product, but I found that it was difficult to find in my area drugstores. Urban Outfitters Nail Polish Haul

Pink Holo, Scorcher, Green Holo

These past few days, I've been doing a lot more shopping than usual. There have been some great summer sales that I couldn't resist. One sale in particular really had some deals that I could not resist. Urban Outfitters has been having sale that's been going on for probably over a week at my local store. They have select nail polishes on sale, ranging from 99 cents down to 25 cents. I'm not sure if this sale is going on at all the stores because I didn't see it going on in one of their New York City stores, so call ahead of time to see what's going on.

Something that I've really been getting into lately is gold. I never used to like gold anything. I've strictly worn silver jewelry pieces and stayed away from anything gold. I just always thought it wouldn't look that great with my warm complexion. But I'm expanding my horizons, starting with this nail polish!

Review: Boots Botanics Hot Cloth Cleansing Balm

About two months ago, I had a skincare epiphany. I discovered Caroline Hirons, skincare expert & blogger extraordinaire. She was in a video with Pixiwoo on Body Talk Daily, talking about her routine, tips, & recommendations. She suggests using a cleansing balm for taking off makeup & for cleansing in general. I can't afford the famous Emma Hardie Cleansing Balm, but I have discovered this alternative.
